From September 2023 to January 2024, I attended the Interface & User Experience Design minor at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. During this minor, I worked in a team to develop a high-fidelity prototype for MoreApp. In the first phase, we focused on research and concept development. During the second phase of our minor, we refined our concept into a fully functional high-fidelity prototype.
MoreApp is a tool designed to create and manage digital forms for various industries. Its user-friendly interface and extensive features make MoreApp suitable for field activities. The goal of MoreApp is to raise awareness about paperless working and help businesses streamline workflows and improve team collaboration. The platform allows users to create and manage forms, which can then be easily filled out using the mobile app or web app.
The assignment we worked on for MoreApp was as follows: How can the MoreApp interface be optimized for automatically generated forms?
Our team developed a new feature within MoreApp: converting a paper form into a digital one. This required integrating new interface elements into the platform, including the transition from paper to digital and the role MoreApp could play for its customers in this process.
The ‘Digitize File’ feature uses artificial intelligence (AI) to recognize text from uploaded documents and automatically place it into the target widgets. The result is presented to the user in a structured way, with the widgets gradually building the digital form step by step. Users retain full control over the digitization process and can modify the generated form according to their needs. This addition allows MoreApp to simplify the digitization of existing forms, saving time, improving efficiency, and supporting sustainable business practices.
